Faster CAS (compilation cache) operations. The local CAS analytics database no longer forces an fsync after every store/cache call, removing a per-operation stall that was starving the CAS daemon’s load and decompress tasks during builds. This makes warm-cache materialize operations noticeably quicker, and the improvement no longer depends on how fast your disk’s fsync is under contention.
